Frequently asked questions.
The essentials about Nexora, the MT5 connection, your licence, billing and validation. If something is missing, write to us from the contact page.
Product
What is Nexora?
Operating software for MetaTrader 5: analysis, validation, risk and local execution in one place. It is not a broker and it never holds your funds.
Does Nexora guarantee profits?
No. No serious system guarantees returns. Nexora puts control, validation and traceability first; trading always carries real risk.
Does it work with any broker?
With any broker that supports MetaTrader 5, through your own local session.
Account & billing
How do I sign up?
You create your account, confirm your email and choose a plan with the 7-day trial. Then you download Nexora Unified, generate an activation code from your dashboard and paste it into Unified: that pairs your computer with your licence.
Does the trial need a card?
Yes. The 7-day trial registers your card — Stripe stores and authenticates it — but charges nothing until day 8. Cancel before then and nothing is charged. Creating an account on its own does not start a trial.
Can I change plan?
Yes, from your account area and the Stripe billing portal.
What if a payment fails?
We write to you with the reason and the retry date. Your account, your data and your NEXORA ID stay intact, and you can still reach your billing page to update the card while the payment is pending.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes. Stripe issues them and you have them in your billing dashboard, with a link to the document. Nexora stores no card data at all.
Connection & licence
How do I connect MT5?
You install Unified, open your MT5 terminal and link the session. Your broker stays local; Nexora never trades outside your own machine.
What is the activation code for?
It pairs ONE computer with your licence. It comes from your dashboard, lasts 10 minutes and is single-use. If it expires you request another: it does not burn a device slot when it is the same computer.
Is the licence tied to my computer?
Yes. Each plan has its slots — Starter 1, Elite 3, Pro 5 — and they can be active at the same time. The state of your licence and of every device is visible in your dashboard.
Can I move to another computer?
Yes. If you have slots left, you activate the new one and that is it. If they are all taken you can request a transfer, and it is worth knowing exactly what it does: the new computer becomes active and EVERY other one is revoked in the same step — not just the oldest. It is your choice, never automatic, and it either completes in full or nothing changes.
What happens if I lose internet?
Unified keeps running. It confirms its licence with the site every few minutes, and if it cannot, it holds for about 15 minutes before falling back to only managing what is already open. It never closes anything on its own.
Why is my dashboard empty?
Because we do not invent data. It fills up when your Unified first greets the site: open Unified and within a few minutes your device appears with its name, its system and its last connection. If something is missing, the activation page tells you exactly which step is left.
Validation
How is a strategy validated?
Historical data, Monte Carlo, walk-forward and shadow live, before any production review. `approved_for_live` starts out false.
Why are some states “pending”?
Because we show the real state of the evidence: if data coverage or live validation is missing, we say so instead of simulating it.
Are all four bots certified?
Not all of them, and we say so plainly. Each bot publishes its state on /edge, read from the certification registry: there are REJECTED bots and EXPIRED certificates — ones that validate a different build from the one shipped today. None has a live trading track record.
